Gikas Hardouvelis "Greeks have matured and learned to pay taxes» (vid)

Gikas Hardouvelis talked to the network CNBC about the benefits for the Greek people. Only that these benefits, are combined, according to the Minister of Finance, to the payment of taxes.

Mr. Hardouvelis believes that people in Greece "matured" and realized that they should pay their taxes to receive benefits.

Only, that in the midst of a severe crisis, people need state support to survive, not only the opposite. Because the ordinary people, the ones who according the INE- GSEE earn 300 Euros, paid huge taxes without any support from the state.

As the Finance Minister said to the American network, the Greeks have now matured and accept the reforms, as they see things as the reduction in drug prices and stores opening on Sundays. Two developments that now everyone knows their true dimension.

"People are lining up now to buy assets"!

Mr. Hardouvelis stressed that Greece needs money from investments that will bring development.

"We have seen that there is a lot of interest in the Greek ports, airports, other companies. People are lining up now to buy assets. We didn't have this experience earlier," he said.

"Investors believe that we will succeed," stated Mr. Hardouvelis, saying, Greece is not only selling shares on the stock market, but land and businesses.
