Preparing a new "fiesta" for the 40 years of ND!

The government continues the communication games of organizing events without substance, in order to reverse the negative climate that exists within the country.

After the swamp of negotiations for the hair cut of the debt, and the tax cuts, the two partners are trying to "bombard" the Greek people with fiestas. In this context, have highlighted the excavations of Amphipolis (expecting for the ... great miracle), but also are organizing events such as the 40 years of PASOK, and the 40 years of the ND.

Political analysts believe that these moves cannot reverse the bad climate that exists in the Greek market, but Venizelos and Samaras have nothing else to show, considering the governmental work. The last straw for the two of them was the speech of Tsipras in the TIF and the National Reconstruction Plan presented by the leader of the Opposition.

Both Mr. Samaras, and Mr. Venizelos made efforts to understate the Plan of SYRIZA. But their efforts fell on deaf ears. It is not coincidence that yesterday (14/9), while Mr. Tsipras ceded the established press conference in TIF, Mr. Venizelos planned a meeting for establishing the Democratic side at Caravel. Of course, this event backfired on Deputy Prime Minister, who accepted the "crossfire" of the "Dauphins" of PASOK.

The decision of the Maximou, to not transmit Nerit the speech of Tsipras from TIF, Saturday afternoon, was turned against it.

It is obvious that PASOK and ND are under election's fever. Indeed, according to exclusive information of Newsbomb, Samaras and Venizelos are already looking for election date, although officially deny it!

It is no coincidence that this afternoon, Samaras and Venizelos will meet urgently (in the wake of announcements of Tsipras) to discuss the political developments.
Moreover, the both men have been advised by their staff to talk to their parliamentary groups, which are furious.

Events in Athens and in... Halkidiki!

According to the Prime Minister's advisers: "The political situation, imposes on Antonis Samaras to highlight the political position of the New Democracy, while the scenarios of invitations and accessions in the blue party, are multiplying. George Karatzaferis expects the call for cooperation, while a number of persons, such as Christos Zois, Nikitas Kaklamanis Byron Polydoras, Mika Iatridi etc. (at every opportunity) leave open the possibility of return, if the Minister makes shift in economic policy of the government."

According to information of Newsbomb, the general order for the preparation of the events is undertaken by the Secretary of the ND, Andreas Papamimikos, in collaboration with the Secretary of Policy Planning, Mr George Koumoutsakos, and Mrs. Marianna Pirgioti of the Institute for Democracy, and the Communication group of ND.

The directions of Antonis Samaras are very specific, and the culmination of the events is be planned for Saturday, October 4 in Athens, where the Prime Minister is expected to present the platform for New Greece, but also for the future of the New Democracy.

The message in view of the celebrations was send by the Prime Minister himself, talking to Real News newspaper, saying that he discusses not just the "reunification" of the center-right but the "reconstruction" of the party, which will bring together all those who left, but "believe in the principles of the party and support our difficult quest".

Apart from the event in the capital, another one is planned in Chalkidiki, the place where Constantine Karamanlis held the first Conference of the ND in 1979, in which defined the dominant ideology of the party's social liberalism. The event will have as a central theme the founder of the ND and will focus on its contribution to Greece. There should be a blue invitation to all generations of the party, which means that is not excluded to see old political personalities who were members of the blue party and then walked in separate ways, as Kostis Stephanopoulos.

There is a question, however, about the attitude of Karamanlis, because lately there have been ups and downs in the relationship between Maximou - Karamanlis, with the latter supporting Samaras (by his presence in the speech of Samaras in TIF), but then to "recommend" the Prime Minister to go to early elections. In any case, the birthday of the New Democracy is expected to coincide with the return of the troika in Greece, which is not likely to allow the blue to set up fiestas and festivals.

On the other hand, it is particularly interesting to see how Mr. Samaras will handle the issue of New Greece, as there are reactions from "Karamanlis block" for the whole thing, under the fear that can transform the historic party of the late Constantine Karamanlis into an ELIA of the Right...
