Totally incompetent government!

Totally incompetent government!

The government and the economic team seem to have lost control of the handling of negotiations with the troika.

Unfortunately, they proved completely incapable and inferior of circumstances since they cannot achieve even few positive results for the country.

According to information the troika has send message to Greek economic team for its total opposition to the issue of tax cuts, of the installments of 100 in IRS and about the regulations of "red" loans, since the arrears to the IRS exceed 70 billion Euros and the arrears to the insurance funds exceed 15 billion Euros.

The Maximou -in an attempt to save the reputation of the Samaras- state that the prime minister is allegedly furious with the economic team and the negotiating team.
Indeed, Gikas Hardouvelis Nikos Dendias Yiannis Vroutsis, Christos Staikouras, Katerina Savvaidis and Dimitris Ptochos are 'targeted' as incompetent since cannot implement the commitment of the Prime Minister to TIF, 45 days ago.

Funny excuses, since it is known that all the above persons are choices of Antonis Samaras.

Yesterday, Tuesday (21/10/2014), the prime minister called Gikas Hardouvelis in his office where he was informed of the engagement with the troika and immediately after, took place a special meeting of the cabinet for settling debts.

Indicative of the bad climate, is the fact that after the meeting, government officials told reporters that things are very difficult and deadlines are particularly pressing since lenders are waiting to see how the government will collect the 70 billion Euros which have create an unimaginable black hole in budget implementation.
Today Venizelos-Samaras to Maximou

Indicative of the crucial state is the fact that today, Wednesday (22/10/2014) at 18:00 pm is scheduled a meeting at the Maximou between Antonis Samaras and Evangelos Venizelos to discuss all outstanding issues, with emphasis on "red loans" and arrears.

At yesterday's meeting (21/10/2014), were present the ministers of Development Nikos Dendias, of Justice Charalambos Athanassiou, of Labour Yiannis Vroutsis, the Deputy Finance Minister Christos Staikouras, the Deputy Finance Minister George Mavraganis, the General Secretary of Public Revenues Katerina Savvaidis and the advisor to the Prime Minister Chrysanthos Lazaridis. The Minister of Finance, who attended the meeting, left the ministry shortly after 19:30 in the evening.

We remind that the Prime Minister Antonis Samaras has announced adjustment of loans in 72-100 installments, while the original plan foresaw to announce the setting and then in the first half of November (according to an announcement by Mr. Dendias during weekend) to bring the regulation for red business loans.
The next stage of intervention on the issue of red loans was for the loans of the private sector and the expansion of the bankruptcy law for individuals and the interventions in Katseli's law.
