ND deputies submit query on Uniform Real Estate Ownership Tax
Twenty-four New Democracy (ND) deputies on Friday submitted a query to the Parliament terming the offsetting of the Uniform Real Estate Ownership Tax (ENFIA) with tax returns, oil tax and electoral benefits as "absurd".
The deputies, headed by Fotini Arabatzi, called on the relevant ministers to stop the withholding of the total ENFIA and argued that "it is paradoxical if not absurd to submit a favorable settlement for arrears payment in 72 and 100 installments and at the same time to withhold in advance all the amount of the bloated ENFIA. "
