ANEL leader asks President Papoulias to convene party leaders' council on Cyprus
Opposition Independent Greeks (ANEL) leader Panos Kammenos on Friday requested of President of the Republic Karolos Papoulias that he call a meeting of the Political Party Leaders' Council to discuss developments in Cyprus.
In a letter addressed to the president of the republic, Kammenos underlined that "recent developments in Cyprus, which once again suffers Turkey's military aggressiveness, make the drawing up of a national policy imperative".
He said the political party leaders' council should convene as soon as possible "to reach the necessary decisions".
