SYRIZA charges PM with being 'unable to negotiate exit from crisis'

The government cannot ask us to be an accessory to its crimes, main opposition Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) said on Saturday, just because it cannot and is not able to negotiate the socially just exit from the crisis and defend the country's interests.

Responding to the participation of Prime Minister Antonis Samaras in the eurogroup summit meeting in Brussels on Friday, SYRIZA charged that the meeting was yet another opportunity for the premier to guarantee that the country remains bound to its creditors.

It also said, "Mr. Samaras tries to intersperse the new memorandum era with vague statements that relate to a new memorandum under another name but with the same catastrophic obligations."
