Greek economy grew 1.4 pct in Q3, Eurostat‏

The Greek economy grew by 1.4 pct in the third quarter of 2014, compared with the corresponding period last year, Eurostat said on Friday (14/11/14).

In its first estimates over GDP development in Eurozone and EU member-states, the EU executive's statistics office said that Eurozone's Gross Domestic Product grew by 0.8 pct in the July-September period and in the EU the GDP grew by 1.3 pct.

Eurostat said that on a quarterly basis, Greece's GDP grew by 0.7 pct in the third quarter compared with the second quarter of the year, while in the Eurozone the GDP grew by 0.2 pct and in EU the GDP grew by 0.3 pct.
