By the scandalous auctioning of the "Henry Dunant" we learned that Piraeus Bank paid 115.135.250 Euros to itself, through its subsidiary HEMITHEA SA, part of which will be used to repay debts and accrued to the state.
The rest was put in the fund from which came, in order to meet the requirements of Piraeus Bank for loans to "Henry Dunant", for which anyway had secured through agreements with the administration of the hospital, during the period when the government had put the hospital under protection from the remaining creditors.
But surely needs investigation and even prosecution, the amount which have been collected by Piraeus Bank before the auction if has collected this amount twice, ie by assignment of its claims and through the forced sale.
During the administration of Martinis in "Henry Dunant", the hospital had an agreement with Marfin in 2006 and 2007, which was subsequently confirmed with Piraeus Bank in 2011 and 2012, to transfer to bank all claims of the hospital against the insurance funds and private insurance companies.
The concession agreement, was concerning the demands of the "Henry Dunant" by: EOPYY, TSEFP, TYDKY, TAPETE, TSMEDE, TAS, OPAD, TYPATE-ATPSYTE-EDOEAP, OAEE, ETHNIKI SA, GREEK NATIONAL SA, GENERAL INSURANCE COMPANY, IKA, OGA , ALLIANZ, MEDNET, NATIONAL INSURANCE, TAFTEKO, ATE INSURANCE SA, AXA INSURANCE SA, DEMCO INSURANCE LTD, GENERALI HELLAS AE, GROUPAMA PHOENIX AEAE, ING AAEZ, METLIFE ALICO, NAVY INSURANCE.
Piraeus Bank, therefore, received amounts in repayment of loans during the period from 2012 onwards, when starting the successive legislative acts to protect the alleged operation of the hospital.
in the flow of payments from pension funds and private insurance companies must add amounts of several million, which had paid the "Henry Dunant" in previous years under the loan servicing. It is also noted that there was extra security for the Piraeus Bank, since Henry Dunant signed a concession agreement of all movable assets of the hospital, as collateral.
However, the Piraeus Bank proceeded in the forced sale of the entire assets of the "Henry Dunant" (total assets and operating license), taking extreme measures for a loan which was partially served. The target of the bank, however, seems that was the hospital, since Piraeus Bank with the help of government of Samaras aquired the hospital at a ridiculously low price (for its total value) and free of weights. Now it seems that it is possible that the hospital had already paid part of its debts to the bank before the auction, a version which must be investigated by the judiciary.
