«More taxes to come for working-class families»

The Greek state budget for 2015 reflects "the government's goal to continue its antipopular attack," the Communist Party of Greece (KKE) said on Friday, 21/11.

"The tax raid is expected to continue in 2015 and will lead to a further burdening of working families by 1.5 billion euros," it warned in its announcement, "at the same time that tax revenues from businesses are expected to be lowered by 100 million euros."

Despite the increase of tax revenues, the party charged, there are plans for further reductions in funding for education, health, social insurance agencies and the local government organisations.
