Stringent security in Greek Parliament during Hollande visit

Stringent security measures will be imposed within the Greek Parliament on Friday, when visiting French President Francois Hollande is expected to address MPs and the country's state and political leadership.

While the French president is in Parliament, all staff and journalists will be forbidden to circulate freely within the building.

According to instructions sent to Parliament's security services, all staff must be at their posts early on and stay there, while none of the journalists allowed in to watch Hollande's speech from the public gallery will be permitted to bring in a cell phone or other electronic device capable of taking photographs.
