A total of 188,511 registered globally for postal voting by deadline Monday
A total of 188,511 Greeks from 127 different countries had registered for postal voting at European elections, by 4:30 pm on Holy Monday. Of these, 141,637 (75.1%) are residents of Greece, while 46,874 (24.9%) are Greeks living abroad.
Among Greeks living abroad, 39,608 registrations come from Europe (84.5%), 477 (10.2%) from North and Central America, 979 (2.1%) from Asia, 453 (1%) from Africa, 226 (0.5%) from South America, and 832 (1.8%) from Oceania.
Monday is the deadline for registration of all who wanted to vote by ballot.
