Athens Stock Exchange opening: Rise
Equity prices were rising on Friday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.36 percent, standing at 963.26 points at 11:05 am, and turnover at 7.99 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was up 0.34 percent, and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was up 1.02 percent.
On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Health (+2.00 percent), Personal care (+1.56 percent) and Technology (+0.91 percent).
The biggest losses were in Industrial Products (-0.46 percent), and Utilities (-0.38 percent).
Of the stocks traded, 34 were up, 12 were down and 21 were unchanged.
