Convicted 'November 17' member transferred to hospital
A convicted member of the “November 17” terrorist group held in Korydallos Prison's maximum-security ward is being transferred to the hospital, as ordered by the correctional facility's cardiologist, it was announced on Friday.
Iraklis Kostaris, who is serving a life sentence for being a member of the terrorist organisation, has been on hunger strike for the past three weeks to protest the revocation of leaves of absence to attend the technical schools of Piraeus, a privilege he held for the past 2.5 years.
