SYRIZA leads over ND in three opinion polls

Main opposition Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) leads over ruling New Democracy (ND) in three opinion polls published in three newspapers on Saturday.

SYRIZA was given an 11.5 pct lead over ND in an opinion poll published in Efimerida ton Syntakton newspaper and a 4.7 pct and 4.3 pct lead over ND in opinion polls published in the newspapers Parapolitika and Agora respectively.

According to the opinion poll in Efimerida ton Syntakton conducted by Public Issue, SYRIZA leads with 38.5 pct, followed by ND 27 pct, Potami 8.5 pct, Communist Party (KKE) 6.5 pct, Golden Dawn (GD) 6 pct, PASOK 5 pct, Independent Greeks (ANEL) 3 pct and Democratic Left (DIMAR) 1 pct.

In the same poll, Prime Minister Antonis Samaras is most suitable for premier with 42 pct while SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras gets 29 pct.

According to the opinion poll conducted by Metron Analysis and published in Parapolitika newspaper, SYRIZA leads with 23.3 pct, ND 18.6 pct, Potami 5.9 pct, KKE 4.4 pct, PASOK 3.7 pct, GD 3.5 pct, ANEL 2.8 pct, Ecologists 1.6 pct, ANTARSYA and LAOS get 1.3 pct each.

Prime Minister Samaras is seen as most suitable for premier with 34 pct, while Tsipras gets 18 pct.

The opinion poll by MRB published in Agora newspaper gives SYRIZA a lead of 23.9 pct followed by ND 19.6 pct, Potami 7.5 pct, KKE 5 pct, GD 4.9 pct, PASOK 4 pct, ANEL 3.1 pct, DIMAR 1.1 pct and ANTARSYA 1.1 pct.
