Defence Minister Dendias visits extreme southeastern Aegean
Defence Minister Nikos Dendias on Thursday (27/11) visited Kastelorizo and Stroggyli and Ro islets as part of his tour at the units and outposts in the Area of Responsibility of the 95th Higher National Guard Battalions Command.
Dendias assured that the ministry and the Greek state will support those who keep the country’s morale high. He also reminded the country’s neighbors that “Greece has the honour of having a peace and friendship relation with all the peoples. But it is also absolutely determined to defend both its national sovereignty and its national dignity.”
Dendias was accompanied by Deputy Defence Minister Giannis Lambropoulos, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff General Michail Kostarakos and the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Christos Manolas.
