Justice will not be dismayed by terrorism, justice ministry leadership notes
The message that "terrorism will not dismay justice," was expressed in an announcement that Justice Minister Nikos Paraskevopoulos and Alternate Justice Minister for Corruption Issues Dimitris Papangelopoulos released on Friday (29/07/2016), in response to the parcel bomb sent to a Greek judge the previous day.
"Greek society as a whole and the justice ministry express their deepest respect toward the judges that reach the point of risking terrorist attacks in order to conscientiously do their duty. Beyond our self-evident support, which we immediately expressed to the judge over the telephone, we already thank the Citizen Protection Minister for immediately taking care to increase security measures. Terrorism will not dismay justice," the announcement said.
