PM Tsipras speaks on the phone with EU Commission president Juncker
European Commission president Jean Claude Juncker and Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras spoke on the phone on Friday (25/11/2016) on the course of the programme and the progress made in the second review, Commission spokesman Margaritis Schinas said.
Schinas said that it was a "useful" and "constructive" discussion as the second programme review is about to be concluded especially ahead of EU Commissioner Pierre Moscovici's visit to Athens next Monday.
He added that it was a good opportunity for the two men to discuss the Greek issue and evaluate the progress made in the implementation of the programme."The efforts of Juncker to keep Greece in the eurozone are well known," Schinas underlined.
