Funeral for director Nikos Koundouros on Saturday, at public expense
The funeral for Greek film director Nikos Koundouros will take place at noon on Saturday, in the Athens 1st Cemetery.
The funeral will be held at public expense, by order of Interior Minister Panos Skourletis.
Koundouros died in hospital on Wednesday after a long bout of ill health, aged 90. The family has asked that donations be given to the charities "Kivotos tou Kosmou" and "Smile of the Child" in lieu of funeral wreaths.
