Tsipras: Despite the pressure, the government has positive work to demonstrate
The final text of the proposal of the central committee dominated a meeting of SYRIZA's political secretariat chaired by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Wednesday.
The members of the political secretariat discussed the benefits of the agreement and the economic potential with focus on social measures.
The main difference between the government and the main opposition regards growth and how it will be achieved. They also discussed a series of issues on the coordination of the government work.
Tsipras underlined that as we are exiting a difficult negotiation circle and the economy is turning a page, we are in a position to describe the way forward with greater clarity. He added that despite the pressures, the government has to demonstrate a positive work.
