Fire breaks out in western Achaia
A wildfire broke out around the mountainous village of Santomeri in western Achaia on Friday, the fire brigade said.
A force of 30 firemen with 15 vehicles, one team on foot and one helicopter are operating in the area.
A separate blaze that started in the area of Sihena, near Patras, is in recession.
