Seventeen Turkish nationals ask for political asylum after reaching Oinousses
A total of 17 foreign nationals were located on Monday on a beach on the Greek island of Oinousses - near the island of Chios in the northeast Aegean - and were transferred to the migrant reception and identification centre on Chios.
According to Coast Guard sources, they are Turkish nationals who came to Greece on a dingy and are asking for political asylum.
