Police looking for two burglars who shot businessman during house break-in
Police are looking for two burglars who shot and injured a 52-year-old businessman when they broke into his house in Kifissia early on Monday morning.
The house did not have an adequate alarm system and two men broke into it shortly after 5:00 a.m.
The man, whose wife and adult children were also at the house, went to investigate and saw two men wearing hoods searching for valuables. They hit him on the head with an implement and one of the two burglars shot him in the back twice.
The businessman is in Gennimatas hospital in critical condition.
