N. Maziotis before examining magistrate: "Others should be facing charges"

N. Maziotis' process of apology beforeexamining magistrate was completed.

As expected, N. Maziotis did not answer for charges and he restricted his apology in saying:

"Members of Revolutionary Struggle do not apologize. They fight for overturning a system that exploits its people. Others should be facing charges, instead of me".

He also commented on current socio-political situation in Greece, claiming that "a social massacre, unprecedented in country's history is taking place".

According to examining magistrate's decision N. Maziotis was kept in custody.

The defense attorney, S. Fytrakis, said that N. Maziotis did not reply to any questions and that he just made a political statement. He added that the issues of phone communications as well as his rights while in detention are expected to be resolved.
