Maziotis transferred to Diavata prisons

Reportedly, only a few high ranking in Hellenic Police knew about the transfer, while the mission was accompanied by large forces of counterterrorism and Special Anti-Terrorist Unit. The aim of the authorities was to avoid any communication of Maziotis with convicted members of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire or other terrorists imprisoned in Korydallos.

A relevant request for transfer was submitted by the Council of Prison of Korydallos. The Council consists of the director of the prison, the warden and the social worker.
