Crete: Crocodile Sifis managed to escape from Olivier Behra

Sifis will continue to swim in the lake of the Potamos dam in Amari, as he escaped from the famous "Crocodile man" Olivier Behra

Last night, for the third time, was made another attempt by renowned herpetologist, in which attended the Doctor of biology at the Natural History Museum of University of Crete, Peter Lyberakis, and the director of the OAS in Rethymno, Vangelis Mamangakis.

As Mr. Mamangakis stated in Flashnews.gr, Mr. Behra saw the crocodile again, approached him in order to catch him, but Sifis with an impressive reaction disappeared and in spite that the effort continued until the wee hours, the crocodile remained disappeared.

Please note, that on Wednesday night, Olivier Behra after two attempts, while he was in the water he almost had catch the crocodile with his hands, but once again Sifis managed to slip away.

"Today Mr. Behra must depart from Crete as it has other obligations and at least for the next month will not be able to return," said Mr. Mamangakis, while in the next days the committee will convene in order to make decisions about what will happen next.
