FinMin Tsakalotos: We are on track to conclude the programme review

"Bond prices have fallen over the last days and the demand is rising," he said.

Tsakalotos acknowledged that in a period of recession and uncertainty, investments cannot be made and initiatives cannot be taken. But now, he said, it is the right time for serious talks.

"This will support our comprehensive plan for exiting the memorandum and making our economy strong while promoting a growth policy based on a new model," he underlined.
