MH17: Black boxes are in good condition, British experts say
British experts are starting to examine data from the "black boxes" of the Malaysian Boeing 777 airliner that crashed in eastern Ukraine, authorities stated on Thursday.
Experts of the Farnborough-based UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) said the data retrieved from the voice recorder could shed more light on what had happened to the aircraft.
Information from the flight data recorder has already been downloaded, an AAIB spokesman said, adding that data from the two black boxes will be combined.
According to specialists the analysis could take several weeks.
