KKE General Secretary Koutsoumbas to visit Canada and the US
Communist Party of Greece (KKE) General Secretary Dimitris Koutsoumbas will be visiting Canada and the United States on April 22-27, at the head of a KKE delegation.
His visit will begin in Montreal on Monday, April 22, where he will meeting the board of the city's Greek community and the board of the Greek community in Quebec. At 19:00, he will speak at a gathering in Montreal.
On Tuesday, Koutsoumbas will be in Toronto for a meeting with a Canadian Communist Party delegation led by party leader Liz Rowley, while on Wednesday he will meet Greece's Consul General in Toronto, the board of the Toronto Greek community, and address a gathering of the Toronto KKE Friends' Club at 19:30.
The KKE's leader will next visit New York, where he will meeting with the Greek consul general on Friday, followed by a meeting with the leadership of the Amazon employees union.
On Saturday, April 27, he will visit Astoria and shops run by Greek-Americans there, he will meet with the board of the Hellenic Cultural Center and speak at a gathering of the KKE Friends' Club of New York at 19:00.-
