Debate on driving licenses bill begins in parliament

The discussion on the Infrastructure and Transport Ministry's bill on driving licenses and other regulations began, under fast-track procedure, in the Greek parliament on Thursday.
A discussion on the bill will in the parliament plenary will be held on Friday, followed by a vote.
A committee will also be set up to develop a new legislative framework for examining candidate drivers, in line with European directives, which is expected to be submitted in six months.
