Stolen Parthenon marbles should pemanently return to Greece, Gennimata says
EUROKINISI (ΑΡΧΕΙΟ)
"The stolen Parthenon marbles must permanently return to Greece, this is our one and only demand. From the time of Melina (Mercouri) until today," stated Movement for Change (Kinima Allagis) leader Fofi Gennimata on Tuesday.
"This is something that [Prime Minister Kyriakos] Mitsotakis should understand, especially after the fiasco with his proposal for lending (the marbles)," added Gennimata.
Gennimata was referring to Mitsotakis' statement to the Observer.
