Athens Stock Exchange opening: Decline
EUROKINISSI (ΑΡΧΕΙΟ)
Equity prices were dropping on Monday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE). The basic share price index was down 0.95 percent, standing at 861.14 points at 11.05 and turnover was at 4.95 million euros.
The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 1.09 percent and the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 0.41 percent.
Individual sector indices were moving downwards with the bigger gains in Raw Materials (+1.28 percent) and in Oil (+0.47 percent). The heaviest losses in Banks (-2.35 percent) and in Public Utilities (-1.81 percent)
Of the stocks traded, 32 were up, 30 were down and 22 were unchanged.
