British woman, 58, dies on Skiathos, accidentally run over by husband
A 58-year old British woman died on Wednesday when she was accidentally run over by her husband in the driveway of their house on the island of Skiathos.
The accident occurred at around 3 a.m. as the couple was returning from a night out, during which they had reportedly consumed large amounts of alcohol.
The woman got out the car to open the gate but fainted before she entered the house. Her husband did not see her and ran over her with his car.
Police are investigating the incident.
