Egyptair cargo plane makes an emergency landing at Athens airport

An Egyptair A332 cargo plane with a five-member crew made an emergency landing at Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos) at 09.45 on Friday due to smoke detected in the cockpit.
The plane was flying from Egypt to Cologne, Germany and was flying through Greek air space when the crew reported the issue. All the proper procedures were followed and the plane landed without any problem.
