Asylum seekers from Moria hotspot begin protest march to Mytilene.
Over 2000 asylum seekers of Afghan origin were were carrying out a protest march on Monday morning, starting at the reception and identification centre in Moria and heading toward the island's main town of Mytilene to demand better living conditions and the acceleration of asylum procedures.
A strong police force is in the area, monitoring the demonstration.
