SYRIZA accuses gov't of reactivating its plan for the privatisation of the health sector

In an announcement, the main opposition party claims the we move to the de facto change of character of the National Health Organisation and quoted Ethnos newspaper article according to which "the government is going to bring an amendment in parliament which will foresee the concession of National Health Services Organisation (EOPYY) services to private companies which will be able to check the Organisation's expenses and its assets. A development that, apart from the downgrading of the offered services, will probably lead to a billion-euro party with participants the already known favourites".

Concluding, the announcement said that the government should answer if this is its real plan.
