Protesting farmers on Saturday decided to continue blocking customs offices at the border crossings into Greece.

Farmers at the Exochi customs offices are escalating their protests and will not allow the passage of trucks until 22:00 on Saturday night. On Friday, their mobilisation lasted eight hours. They will hold a general assembly at 19:00 on Saturday to decide their actions on the following day.

Farmers at the Promachonas border crossing, meanwhile, are preparing to perhaps block the passage of trucks until 20:00 at night, depending on what decision is taken at a meeting of their coordinating committee.

There will be a four-hour blockade of the Evzoni customs office, from 18:00 until 22:00 on Saturday, applied to all classes of vehicles.
