Merkel calls for expanding OSCE observers in Ukraine
Vladimir Putin "welcomed" the proposal of Angela Merkel to send more observers of OSCE in Ukraine, as spokesperson of German Chancellor mentioned.
"The Chancellor proposed to expand the existing OSCE mission in Ukraine and send more observers, primarily to Ukraine's east", German government spokesman Steffen Seibert said.
"The Russian president praised the initiative and pledged to give instructions to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov," Seibert said.
