Cruise ship «ARMONIA» in Thessaloniki!
«Armonia» cruise ship anchored to Thessaloniki port in Saturday morning and is inagurating the touristic season as it is the first cruise ship of the season.
The cruise ship from Venice, with 2,000 passengers on board and 900 staff departs today at 6 o'clock in the evening with final destination the port of Smyrni.
According to "Thessaloniki Port Authority SA", in Port of Thessaloniki 25 cruise ships are expected to arrive. Last year only 18 had come to the co-capital of Greece and in 2012 only 11.
Indeed, the number of the passengers who came to Thessaloniki with the cruise ships rose significantly from 2012, reaching the number of 14,700. In 2012, that number was 8014, so there are about 6,000 visitors more.
