Wildfire raging on Zakynthos
A wildfire broke out earlier on Tuesday at the village of Kiliomenos on the island of Zakynthos.
According to initial information the blaze is burning on two fronts near the monastery of Yperagathos.
Strong winds are currently blowing in the area, so two Canadair fire-fighting aircraft and one helicopter have been dispatched to the island to assist fire-fighting efforts.
