President Pavlopoulos: The danger of nazism is not over
President of Republic Prokopios Pavlopoulos attended the events for the declaration of the village of Kallikratis on Crete as a site of martyrdom.
"Today we honour the memory of the victims of the Nazi atrocity on November 8, 1943. In the memory of those that were lost here, we must defend our freedom united and with determination," he said adding that we must not forget that the danger of nazism is not over.
