President Pavlopoulos inaugurates exhibition on Rigas Feraios
Greek President Prokopios Pavlopoulos inaugurated on Monday an exhibition on Rigas Feraios called «Rigas and Revolution» that is hosted at the Greek Parliament.
Feraios was a Greek national martyr and intellectual whose writings inspired the Greek War of Independence against Ottoman rule.
The exhibition marks the 220th anniversary of his death and will function as a prelude to the celebrations for the bicentennial of the beginning of the War of Independence in 1821.
