Final vote on changes to Skopje's Constitution to be held on January 15
The final changes to Skopje's Constitution in accordance with the Prespes Agreement are expected to be voted on in the parliament in Skopje on January 15, FYROM Parliament President Talat Xhaferi said on Monday.
According to Xhaferi, the parliamentary committees where the final amendments are to be examined are expected to start convening and begin their work on December 17.
After the conclusion of the discussion by the committees, a debate in a plenary session of parliament will follow, possibly starting on January 9, Xhaferi said. This was expected to last a few days before the final vote on January 15.
The government has tabled four constitutional amendments in total, which require a two-thirds majority in order to pass.
