Applications for 120-installment payment plans for social insurance debt top 45,000
More than 36,000 people that are not salaried employees had submitted applications to be included in the 120-installment debt settlement plan for social insurance contribution arrears by Friday.
There were also more than 9,000 debt settlements involving employers.
According to a labour ministry announcement, there have been 210,000 visits to the electronic platform for the debt settlement plans.
"With the 120-installment measure and the very significant relief that this provides, hundreds of thousands of insured and businesses have an opportunity to be permanently rid of the burdens of the past," the ministry said.
