Mani, Greece: Two people found dead
Disaster Response Special Unit, EMAK, found two people dead in an untrodden area of western Mani, close to Kardamyli, on Tuesday, just before dark.
Late hours and inaccessibility of the area did not make possible the recovery of the bodies yesterday.
Officers were guarding the area during the night and the recovery operation takes place on Wednesday morning.
For the same reason bodies have not been identified yet.
However, according to all evidence, it is the case of two young men, 25 and 26, that were reported missing on Monday after midnight.
Coroner is currenlty at the site to perform an autopsy and reach conclusions regarding the causes of their death; whether accident or criminal act.
