Archbishop of Albania Anastasios transferred to ICU after his condition deteriorates

A sharp deterioration in the health of the Archbishop of Albania Anastasios, who is being treated at Evangelismos hospital in Athens, has necessitated his transfer to an ICU, where he was intubated, according to the latest medical announcement on Friday.

The Archbishop of Albania was initially admitted to a Tirana hospital due to a viral illness that began on December 30. His condition worsened, however, and on January 3 it was deemed necessary to transfer him to a hospital in Athens.
