Full-breach in discussions for bank recapitalization
The conversations of Governor of the Bank of Greece George Provopoulos with representatives of the Troika were completed with a disagreement for the amount of additional funds that will be needed from the Greek banks.
Thereafter, the Bank of Greece will proceed unilaterally to publicize the results of stress tests by the end of the week, as revealed by the study conducted by Blackrock. The governor of the Bank of Greece will leave for Frankfurt, because there was no agreement for a new meeting.
However, according to government sources, the cause of the disagreement lies in the insistence of the DNT, in its own estimations, which are clearly higher then those of the Bank of Greece. According to what is known, the Bank of Greece considers the additional capital at 6 billion euros.
