Venizelos for the Referndum in Crimea
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Evangelos Venizelos, who is in Brussels, stated for the situation in Ukraine and the referendum of Crimea.
"The common European position is very clear. European policy should always be a policy of principles. Our goal, is to respect the International Law and the preservation of stability and peace. The solutions should base on politics and diplomacy and the European Union must ensure its credibility and its ability to function as a basic factor for the security of the European continent. Therefore, our message is a message of respect for International Law, and at the same time a need to maintain the political and diplomatic channels", stated Mr Venizelos.
