Ships to remain docked on May 1 for Labour Day strike

"Despite the constant pressure and protests and the respective promises of the officials, the problems have not been solved but they are accumulated daily, culminating in the implementation of the law on reduced and special formations on passenger ships in the Mediterranean, the pensions, the social security system and the continuing violation of the Collective Labour Agreements in terms of hours of work," the Panhellenic Seamen's Federation said in a statement.

PNO urged the government and the employers to finally provide solutions to the problems while making a call to all seamen to participate in the strike action.
