SYRIZA's Charitsis calls on PM Mitsotakis to explain social security issues
"There were several suspicious silences on the part of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Saturday, which hide some very dangerous developments in our opinion," main opposition SYRIZA spokesperson Alexis Charitsis said on Monday, in an interview with ANT1.

According to a SYRIZA announcement, Charitsis said that "the key issue that concerns millions of our fellow citizens is what will happen to pensions. What will happen with the social security system?"
He added: "What's going on with the tax-free allowance? Mitsotakis said nothing about this. What about the tax prepayment? The reduction of the prepayment from 100 pct to 50 pct that we had announced. What about the abolition of the solidarity contribution [for incomes] up to 20,000 euros that we announced. Will these measures go ahead? "
