Turkish fighter jets flew over Kastellorizo without submitting flight plan
In all cases the Turkish military aircraft were recognised and intercepted by Greek fighter planes, in accordance with international rules.
A pair of Turkish military aircraft flew over the island of Kastellorizo at 10:52 on Friday and entered the Athens FIR without submitting a flight plan, the Hellenic National Defence General Staff said.
On Thursday, three F-16s flew over Kastellorizo and Ro without submitting a flight plan. In all cases the Turkish military aircraft were recognised and intercepted by Greek fighter planes, in accordance with international rules.
